ABOUT US

Three Counties Dog Rescue has been in existence for over 37 years. The society originally operated in Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey - centred particularly on the Basingstoke, Aldershot and Reading triangle.

Following an enforced move, we re-formed the Society in Lincolnshire. Now, the Three Counties could be deemed as Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.  However, we are also taking on and re-homing dogs in Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire on a regular basis. Sometimes dogs are taken from further afield when in need but we try to re-home them in our region so we can more easily keep in touch with them.

Recently we have, due to other rescue doors being closed, taken in cats. Our same exacting care and re-homing procedure is also applied to them.

Our dogs and cats are kept in Kennels in Bourne until we find either a permanent or a temporary home for them. A few dogs that have very special needs are in permanent foster homes.

Gyll along with her small team of volunteers are committed to ensure the continuity of Three Counties Dog Rescue as a well-administered resource, and importantly one that will give happiness to future dogs, cats and their new owners.
