LEVI

Rottweiler:  age 4 years

Levi came to Three Counties because his previous owner went to prison.  He would be better suited to a home as an only pet.  Levi is a quiet, calm boy who will respond to love and affection - something he has perhaps never experienced in his life.  With encouragement, attention and kindness Levi will gain confidence, as he desperately needs companionship to be truly happy.  The greatest gift you can give Levi is to make him feel the special dog he really is.  Please help 'unlock' his true character and allow Levi to become your loyal and devoted friend.

MAJOR

German Shepherd cross:  age 8 years

Major is a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves people.  He enjoys to be fussed and groomed, and likes to sit and lean against you to have his chest and head stroked!  Major prefers the company of female dogs and is not too keen on cats.  He absolutely loves his walks and trots along very nicely on his 'halti'.  Major is fit, strong and healthy and acts like a dog half his age!  He enjoys to play and will run after a ball, and loves a game in the garden.  Major likes a comfy bed where he can have some peace and quiet but he is quite a nervous dog and needs plenty of cuddles, attention and pampering to reassure him.  Major would be the most loyal and protective companion.  In return he just wants to be loved.  He would respond best to a family with older children.

ZACK

Crossbreed:  age 2 years

Zack is a lovely dog.  He is a medium-sized, lively boy who is very friendly!  Zack is also extremely intelligent.  He enjoys the company of other dogs, and is good with people, including children.  Zack would make a wonderful family pet.

Patch

Labrador cross:  age 7 years

Patch is a very loyal, reliable and steady boy.  He needs a special home with someone who can understand him.  Patch has not had things very easy in the past and really deserves to be with a loving family.  Patch can be wary of people initially and takes time to get to know you.  With patience and TLC it will be very rewarding to build a relationship with Patch.  He doesn't need a lot of exercise, just a comfy home and bed and all the attention as an only pet!  Patch just wants someone to love him.  Please open your heart and give him this chance.

MERLIN

Lurcher:  age 5 years

Merlin is presently in a foster home.  He is a lively and friendly dog who travels well.  Merlin gets on fine with other dogs and would make a lovely addition to a family without young children.

MILO

Collie:  age 5 years

Milo is a very handsome boy who has been through a bad time in the past.  He is apprehensive of people initially but with a little time, love and patience he will become the most faithful and true friend.  Milo needs a great deal of tender loving care and would really respond to a 1:1 relationship. Once you have gained his trust Milo will blossom and become a dog transformed!  If you want a dog who will be completely devoted to you, then Milo is your boy.  Milo needs a gentle home, as an only pet.  Please give him the chance to shine and show you the wonderful companion he can be with the love and kindness he so deserves.

MINTY

Border Collie:  age 3 years

Another handsome lad!  This lovely dog came to Three Counties after being abandoned. Minty would respond well to 1:1 care and attention. He is a very loving boy.  Minty is bright and lively and needs a gentle home without children or other pets.

PEDRO

German Shepherd:  age 2 years

Pedro has not been treated well in the past and can be nervous around people initially.  Once you get to know him Pedro is very playful and cheeky!  Pedro is an affectionate and obedient boy who gets on well with other dogs.  He would make a wonderful companion for a family with children aged at least 10 years.

REEF

Staffie cross:  age 5 years

Reef really deserves a second chance at life.  He is very affectionate and loves a cuddle.  He also loves the company of other dogs, and would suit a family with older children.

OZZY

Collie cross:  age 6 months

Ozzy is such a lovely dog.  This poor lad has been through a tough time and is looking for a gentle home in a family with older children.  Ozzy is well behaved and understands commands.  He is a little nervous around other dogs.  Please give this youngster another chance.

ZACH

Weimaraner:  age 8 years

Zach is a very handsome boy.  He has a wonderful temperament and is very friendly.  Zach enjoys the company of people and other dogs.  He is also good with children and would make a lovely family pet.

BERTIE

Rottweiler:  age young

Bertie is a big dog who is a bouncy ball of fun!  He is incredibly friendly and is so lovable and cuddly.  Bertie is also good with other dogs.  This playful boy would be a fantastic addition to a family with older children.

A photo of Alfie will be available soon.

ALFIE

Lurcher:  age 3 years

Alfie is a good looking lad!  He has an absolutely wonderful temperament as he loves everyone and everything!  Alfie is good with adults, children and other dogs.  He would make a lovely family pet.

BARNEY

Old English Sheepdog:  age18 months

Barney is full of fun!  He is a lively boy who is quite small for his breed.  Barney enjoys to play and gets on well with other dogs. Barney loves the company of people and would be a great addition to any family.

KRIS

Collie cross:  age 2 years

Kris is a very sweet natured and obedient dog who gets on well with everyone - adults, children, dogs and cats!  Kris arrived at Three Counties looking rather thin so he still needs to gain some weight.  Kris would be a wonderful family pet.

PIP AND REGGIE

Pip:  Jack Russell:  age 13 years

Reggie:  Terrier/Poodle cross:  age 8 years

Pip is a wired haired Jack Russell.  Reggie's coat is presently clipped as his natural coat is much longer (and we are told does not moult).  These two handsome boys have come into the care of Three Counties as their present owners are moving abroad and unfortunately cannot take dogs  with them.  Pip and Reggie have been living together for one year and get on extremely well.    Both dogs are very active and although Pip is older he is full of energy and really does not seem his age!  They are typical terriers and will need a very secure garden to keep them in as they are very good diggers and climbers!  Neither are good with cats or other small animals and will chase anything that moves so they will need to be kept on a lead during their walks! Reggie walks very well after the initial excitement, and Pip is fine when walked on a halti collar, but occasionally he may be a little difficult with other dogs. Both boys can be a bit excitable but have been left without damage to the home and are house trained.

We are very keen to re-home these wonderful dogs together.  However, we may consider letting them go to separate homes given the right circumstances.
