BENNY Collie cross: age 10 years Benny is very gentle. He is a happy dog, yet life has not been very easy for him in the past as he was kept chained up outdoors for long periods of time. He really deserves a special home with lots of comfort, where he can be given all the attention as an only pet. Benny likes his bed and regularly moves his bed around the kennel to where he wants it to be - he chooses his spot! Benny is bright and alert, and very sprightly. He will often 'shake' with excitement and literally spins around when it is time for his walk! Benny really enjoys his walks, trotting along very happily, but he will be just as contented being a loyal, faithful companion sitting by your side. Benny is very good with people, including older children. He is desperate to be loved. Benny would bring so much joy to your life and be a pleasure to everyone who knows him. Please open your heart and give this wonderful boy a chance to enjoy some freedom.

TARA Staffie: age 3 years Tara would love to be in a home and would make an ideal family pet. She is a very placid, good natured girl, very at ease with people and is desperate to be loved. In fact the love of Tara's life is the companionship of people. She is very affectionate, loves a cuddle and is absolutely wonderful with children of all ages. Tara is blissfully happy just to be with you and would be in her element in a home where her family are around her for most of the day. She is a wonderfully sweet girl but she does get stressed around other dogs. In fact she would not be too worried about her walks and would possibly be happier pottering around your garden where she will feel safe and secure. Poor Tara lost most of her teeth before coming to Three Counties and therefore does look a little 'gummy'! However, she still likes carrying things around in her mouth including her food bowls! Tara also damaged her tail which needed to be amputated. But all this makes her such a character and so endearing. Tara may not be the prettiest girl in the kennels but she will melt your heart with those gorgeous eyes! Tara is an undemanding dog who would easily fit into family life. She is a complete 'softie' who would be so grateful for some love and home comforts and would repay you ten times over as a loyal companion. Tara would suit a family where she will be the only pet. Please give her the chance she deserves. |
