MAGGIE-MAY

GSD cross : Age 1 year approx.

Maggie-May is slightly smaller than a German Shepherd but quite resembles the breed. She has semi long hair and is calm and travel wells in a car. Unfortunately her former owner could no longer afford to keep her.

For Susie sniffing the grass was far more important than having her picture taken!

SUSIE

Collie/Labrador cross:  age 4-5 years

Susie is a small, lively girl who would really appreciate being part of a loving family.  She has not been treated well in the past yet she is a lovely lass who enjoys the company of people.  Susie also likes children.  She would be best suited as an only pet in a family with older children.

SADIE

Bull Mastiff : age 3 years

Sadie is a black faced tan mastiff. She has come into the care of Three counties due to not getting on well with another female dog inside the home. Outside of the home Sadie gets on well with all dogs, but is not happy to share her home with another female. She gets on well with children and travels well in a car, although she will need a larger vehicle as she weighs around 50 kilos. due to her size we would like to re-home Sadie with a family with older children.

MADGE

Staffie Cross: Age 2 years

Madge is a long legged Staffie Cross. She is very affectionate and travels well in a car with music to listen to. Madge is an intelligent dog that would make a perfect pet for a family with older children.

PURDY

Jack Russell : age 4 years

Purdy is a lively girl that travels well in a car. She has a rough coat. Purdy would need to be re-homed as an only pet, in a home with older children.

KIZZY

Labrador cross:  age 4-5 years

Kizzy is a very loving and affectionate dog.  She can be a little timid with strangers but will quite quickly bond  with new owners.  Once settled Kizzy will make a very loyal pet. She is not good with other dogs and cats. Kizzy would suit a family with older children as an only pet.

ABBEY AND MARY

Boxers both age around 7 years.

Abbey is red and white and Mary is all white. This pair have come into Three Counties because their owners have moved house and were unable to take them with them. They are an affectionate pair and we would prefer to home them as a pair. Both girls are on the smaller size.

Boxer cross:  age 5 years

Dolly is a small Boxer Cross with a gentle nature and playful character.  She is not good with other dogs but is brilliant with people and children.

SASHA

Staffie Cross Labrador : born Jan 2009

Sasha is a lovely young intelligent girl. She is good in the car and on a lead. Sasha does not get on well with all other animals. We would like to re-home her in a home with older children.

GYPSY

Boxer age 8 approx.

Gypsy is a lovely older boxer that has been used to living with another dog. She is happy to share her home with another dog but needs to be kept on a lead when out as she can be protective of her "Home Sibblings". With would like to re-home Gypsy in a home with older children. If she is to go with another dog we feel that she would be better suited to living with a male.

JESSIE

German Shepherd:  age 3 years

Jessie is very friendly.  She is quite small for her breed.  Jessie gets on well with people.  She is not good with small dogs or cats. Jessie would love to be in a family with older children.

RUBY

 Rottweiler:  age 8 years

Ruby is a very beautiful, friendly and gentle girl .  She is good with other dogs and tends to ignore other dogs who are not friends with her!   Ruby likes to 'mother' everyone. She enjoys lots of fuss and attention and is very affectionate. She is also happy to be groomed. Ruby would be best suited in a family with older children. 

DAISY

Staffie:  age 3 years

Daisy went through a very bad time before she came into Three Counties. She does not enjoy being in the kennels but with a lot of love and attention this girl has really flourished. Daisy loves human company and her food. She is very alert. We would like to re-home Daisy in a home as an only pet with older children.

GERI

Collie cross:  age 2 years

Geri is a lively, energetic and playful girl who enjoys to run around in the garden and loves her toys.  She is house trained and is very clean around the home.  She quickly forms a deep bond with her carers and is very affectionate and loving.  Geri does not get on well with all other dogs. She would thrive in a quiet and peaceful rural home where she can feel relaxed.

GERTY

English Bull Terrier:  age 18 months

Gerty is a lovely example of this breed. She is friendly but has not got on well with other dogs in the past. Gerty is quite a strong dog and would benefit from being re-homed with someone use to this breed. We recommend she be re-homes as an only pet with older children.
