PAIRS OF DOGS BASIL AND TIFFY : PIP AND REGGIE "A pleasure to behold, a love that can't be beat Your hearts of finest gold have made our home complete" |
The following pairs of dogs cannot live happily without each other and desperately need a loving home together. The relationship between dogs and their owners is wonderful enough, but when they have a relationship with each other as well, the experience is even more rewarding.
Having two dogs is no more work than having one and is double the pleasure! Please consider offering a home to these lovely dogs.

BASIL AND TIFFY Yorkshire Terriers: age - older Basil and Tiffy came into Three Counties due to the health problems of their previous owner. They are typical older Yorkshire Terriers and are both very sweet. They get on very well with all other dogs regardless of size, sex and age. Tiffy is the smaller of the two and Basil is quite a 'chunky' chap! They love a walk but are both equally happy at home or rooting around in the garden so they would fit in well with most families. Each dog has a different character. Tiffy is happy to be in a room on her own so long as she has a comfortable bed! Basil loves to be with humans all the time. In the evening Tiffy loves nothing better than to be able to lay upside down in the crook of your arm while Basil likes to be picked up so he can have a good look at what is going on around. Both dogs are fully trained and obedient and also travel very well in the car. Perfect for someone who prefers companion dogs that need very little effort! Please give these two wonderful dogs the second chance they deserve.

PIP AND REGGIE Pip: Jack Russell: age 13 years Reggie: Terrier/Poodle cross: age 8 years Pip is a wired haired Jack Russell. Reggie's coat is presently clipped as his natural coat is much longer (and we are told does not moult). These two handsome boys have come into the care of Three Counties as their present owners are moving abroad and unfortunately cannot take dogs with them. Pip and Reggie have been living together for one year and get on extremely well. Both dogs are very active and although Pip is older he is full of energy and really does not seem his age! They are typical terriers and will need a very secure garden to keep them in as they are very good diggers and climbers! Neither are good with cats or other small animals and will chase anything that moves so they will need to be kept on a lead during their walks! Reggie walks very well after the initial excitement, and Pip is fine when walked on a halti collar, but occasionally he may be a little difficult with other dogs. Both boys can be a bit excitable but have been left without damage to the home and are house trained. We are very keen to re-home these wonderful dogs together. However, we may consider letting them go to separate homes given the right circumstances.
