SUPPORTING US

Three Counties Dog Rescue became a registered charity (No: 283209) in 1981 and we can only carry out our work through the generosity of those who donate money and those who give their time to support our animals.  Thank you to all our dedicated supporters.

Although we operate from home and bear the costs of transport and telephone, we incur significant costs in kennelling, veterinary bills and advertising.

Our running costs can be especially high where we have kept a dog for some time before a suitable home is found.  We therefore welcome a realistic donation of at least £150 from the new home to defray costs, as the true cost to the Society is in the region of £800 per dog homed. 

In order to make up the shortfall, we have a few very kind people who raise additional funds for us, and any other donations are very welcome. 

Life for most Charities is hard.  Three Counties Dog Rescue has found satisfactory homes for around 5,000 dogs so far.  Nevertheless, we need to raise additional finance if we are to guarantee our survival.
